Yesterday there were three crops around New Zealand - one in Invercargill, one in Christchurch and one in Wellington to raise money for the people involved in the Christchurch earthquake.
There was a sketch challenge and a prize up for grabs at each of the crops and Trina has opened the challenge for those who couldn't go to the crops - like me (I was busy with a class of my own and designer day at Scotties). Here is my layout - a bit different to my normal and I have used my new Tim Holtz Rosette die very cool!

Round Nine of the SBO Contest
Well round nine is now over and with it the kiwiana contest at SBO. For this round we were sent a set of five dolls from Kaisercraft and we could create with them anything we wished. I decided on a Christmas theme and made a Mary and Joseph, a King, an angel and a shepherd. I then created a background plaque so it can hang up.

Lets Get Shabby October Contest
I loved the challenge this month (every month really but haven't had much time to do challenges) over at Lets Get Shabby this month. The first part was photos of two kitchens to be inspired by - I chose Kitchen two as thought of what to do first.
Here is the photo:
The photo inspired me to have some distressed chipboard(from the table in the kitchen), Big rose and floral fabric (from the tea towel and apron), a doily(due to the napkin holder), pink and white striped paper (from the tea towel) and touches of green.
The second part was to have the following ingredients:
One piece of fabric - Mine is behind the photo
Two die cut shapes -I chose butterfly and a MME diecut with roses and leaves on it which is under the large rose
Three colours from your chosen kitchen. (These will need to be your dominant colours) - my main colours are red, pink and white

Southern Girls Challenge
The challenge this time over at the Southern Girls challenge blog is to use a piece of jewelery on your project. I have used a flower brooch and a bead necklaces that I have hoarded in my stash from some scrounging around op shops! I have used a creative imaginations diecut against black cardstock and used a yummy new Websters paper as well as some prima leaves. This is what I came up with:
