Sizzix Ink its Letterpress

Before the Scotties new store opened I created a new banner for display using Sizzix Ink its Letterpress on canvas. I cut out the banners out of canvas and stained them with Spun Sugar Stain and placed eyelets with a Cropadile. Then I created a insert banner. I inked the letterpress and put the insert over the top. Then I placed the letterpress on my A board of my cuttlebug and covered it with a B Board and put it through the cuttlebug. I created enough banners to have the word Welcome on it. Then embellished each banner with prima flowers and leaves.
The Banner then was tied together with stained seam binding.

I also created a layout inking the letterpress with embossing ink through the cuttlebug and adding different colour embossing powders.

Floral burst Lucky eight punch

This Lucky Eight Punch has been the most popular of the punches in store.  Each punch has three different types of punch you can do.  Here are two layouts I have created using different features of the punch.

For the first layout I have just used the floral burst so only the inner cut.  I have used Pink Paislee's London Market paper and packaging and Prima Poppies on the layout

The second layout I have used the outer cut only and created a boy page with the Simple stories paper range Awesome which is great for boys of all ages.

The other option on the punches is to cut both the inner and outer cut together - very cool!

On The Go - Bo Bunny layouts

On the Go by Bo Bunny is a bright fun collection for young boys.  I have created three layouts so far with the collection. I find my style being just a bit different - more simple with brighter collections.

The first layout I created a frame from the paper and made quite a linear but fun layout. Love small photos so you can tell a story on one layout.

The second layout I used a Crafters Workshop Gears template and used it as a subtle stencil in the background. I used a few Stickers from the sticker sheet as well.

My third layout I did I used the template again but used a red paint dauber to create a more grungy background.  I love how the colours match my photos.

Lets get shabby challenge was to use the following photo to inspire you to create using an Easter or spring theme.

I created this layout using Spring Jubilee papers from Pink Paislee - I love these photos of Katie staring at her Easter bunny.

Another Freaking Scrappy challenge April prompt challenge

The challenge at AFSC was perfect for a layout about Brendan putting salt instead of sugar in my tea on April Fools Day which is the theme of the challenge.

here is my layout using Pink Paislee's Daily Junque Collection
