NZ Dare 42

Dare 42 was to scrap a story from my childhood.  So I did mine about my first day at school. Look at the short dress and isn't that little suitcase too cute.

Scrapbook Savvy Technique Challenge for March

Marchs Technique challenge was to use a serviette and transparency. Firstly put mod podge on the transparency then lay the serviette on the transparency and add layer of mod podge.  Allow to dry then cut out the patterns you want.  The flowers and Butterflies were made using this technique. It makes a great embellishment and it could be easily layered to create a more dimensional layout.

I have used mainly Paper Pestos February kit to do this layout (the serviette was included).  The rubons were from their October kit.  The adhesive pearls are from Kaisercraft and the transparency is just a plain one. Journalling spot is Hambly studio rubon

NZ DARE 41

NZ Dare 41 was to do a layout using She quote from the link on their blog.  I did the layout of me in my early 20s. I have decided to do my BOM in A4 size as it is easy to work with and store.

A Challenge by Carol

Carol who I know from scrapbooking by design has posted a challenge on their forum for the easter weekend - a sketch challenge so I did it being the challenge Junkie I am. Thanks Carol a great sketch.

Scrapbooking by design sketch Challenge March

Here are two more takes on the sketch - so easy for those photos that have a smaller image on them and need to be cropped.  Have  great easter.

This sketch was great to use I have used two photos on the right instead of one.
