My News....

I have some awesome news - I have been chosen to be a Contributor at The Sketchbook. I applied a few weeks ago and was a little surprised when chosen. I am going to be helping out a very talented lady Megan who developed the site only a few months ago and it has grown rapidly. I am joining forces with the amazingly talented Hannah, Annelie, Rachel and Lara as a fellow contributor alongside Megan.
The Sketchbook is an awesome forum with fortnightly challenges, Friday night challenges , Celebrity challenges (this month it is Layle Koncar from Scenic Route) as well as bigger contests like the recently completed Sketchbook Olympics. I am really looking forward to working with the ladies - Thanks Megan.

Sadly to do this I have had to give up the last three months of my designer role at Little shop of Sketches - two more weeks to go. I have enjoyed doing the layouts for the sketches Tanya Leigh provides and has been a great introduction to the wider scope I will have at The Sketchbook. There is exciting things afoot at Little Shop of Sketches and Stampin Scrap with a new designer next month and the 12 Days of Christmas contest in December as well as more stock at the Shoppe. Thank you so much for the opportunity you gave me Tanya Leigh and wishing you all the best with your shoppe and site - I will still be visiting to see all the inspiration .

Little Shop Of Sketches

Here is the sketch for this week

And here is my take - I have used four smaller photos instead of one large one which I find is a good way to record events when the photos that were taken are not great quality and are to fuzzy to increase their size.

products used
My minds eye and scenic route paper
Queen and co felt fusion
American crafts and provocraft alphas
Junkitz and Beutron buttons
Jenni Bowlin journal spot

K and Co epoxy buttons

Have a go at the sketch and upload at Stampin' Scrap Gallery by the end of August and be in to win a rak at the end of the month. If you are not already a forum member you will have to register on the forum and in the gallery before uploading.
