This months Prima's BAP included a circle feature, tags and two photos. I decided to utilise my Cricut and the Paper Lace 2 cartridge. My two tags are prima packaging and a prima notecard. The photos are of newborn Kaitlyn who is now seven. A bit of older Prima used on the layout!

Prima product pick for July
This months Prima product pick is celebrating the colours of America (which are the same colours on New Zalands Flag) because of Independance day.
I didn't have a lot of red and Blue Prima stuff so I coloured their canvas mistable flowers and flourish with colour wash and a snow pen. The base of the layout is also a canvas. I think I might try this colour combo some more!

July Challenge at Scotties Finally!!
The new challenge at Scotties can be found here.
And here it is too ;)
Well you are probably wondering what happened with the July Challenge seen it is nearly halfway through July - well here it is! Sorry it's late! You have until Midnight the 7th of August to upload your take to Mr Linky in the sidebar.
The big Craft show - CHA is about to happen in the States so we will be seeing and selling new Scrapbooking releases next month - very exciting (not so much for the credit card!). I am sure most of you like me have a pile of older papers that you have not used so my challenge to you is to use up some older papers and embellishments (not any released this year). You can make a layout, card or off the page project. New Scrappers you can join in too just use your oldest papers - there are still a lot around that are not "new". You can create more then one project to go in the draw for the RAK - the more you create the better your chance!
For my sample I have some not so old Bo Bunny papers from July CHA 2010 - a release called midnight frost. They are great for those wintery photos even with no snow. I have also used two of my new Cricut cartridges as my Cricut has been gathering dust. I have used Paper Lace 2 for the background lace and Flower Shoppe for the paper flowers. These are both amazing cartridges. On my Prima flower I have used a Snow Pen (you need a heat gun to puff the snow) to make it look more wintery and the little branches are using this punch. I have dabbed picket fence crackle paint on the photos and the paper lace.
So go on and create so you can make some space for the new releases COMING SOON!

My Senz creations
My classes went alright very full on but had lots of great comments even though nobody completed the projects in the class. Was a bit nerve wracking having my biggest classes I have ever had (16) - don't know how others can do more then 50! But considering a year and a half ago I said I would never teach classes it went alright.
This month I will have been teaching at Scotties for a whole year! I am having a limited number class next Friday (15th of July) to create a off the page Birdcage (there is an option for a double layout) as a celebration of teaching for a year and to use Scrapware in a class. You can find the details here.
Here is a sample of the birdcage - will post more images after the class:
and here are my Senz creations
