Guest Designer at ARTastic

This month I am the guest designer at ARTastic a challenge site which has art pieces for you to use as inspiration.  This month is a farm scene called

Spring Frost Study by Elioth Gruner

July inspiration is Spring Frost Study by Elioth Gruner
I was inspired to create a layout from the tree and fence as well as the country theme from the art prompt. The layout is of my daughter feeding goats at a public farmyard here in New Zealand.  Just after these photos were taken the white goat head butted her so she refused to go back to feed them anymore!

I have used Kaisercraft papers and a gorgeous chippy fence from Dusty attic painted with distress paints. My layout is then finished off using Petaloo flowers, studio calico hearts, American Crafts thicker Alphas and some Prima wooden leaves.

Prima Product Pick for April Challenge

Its been awhile since I had a go at Prima Challenges here is my take on the Product pick for April. A very cute cheeky looking Kaitlyn!

Hmmm...its been awhile!

Hi everyone! I have been a bit of a stranger to my own blog! four months!!!

I have just been to Christchurch for a scrapbooking retreat at Glen Tui. I had a great time away seing and meeting my scrappy friends - it would have been better if I was not feeling unwell - I even had a nearly two hour sleep during the day - I never do that! I did do 18 layouts and two cards though backgrounds were done at home prior tho the retreat to save packing too many products.

Here is a layout I did for the challenge at the retreat - didnt enter as I had packed up before the challenge was judged!

I have lots more to share in the next few posts!
