Sharing my second layout to share using the Furry Friends
Collection by Kaisercraft. This is a great collection for documenting
the dogs and cats in our life. Today's layout has my husbands cat Missy
featured in it. She is no longer with us - she went to the rainbow
bridge last year after being in our lives for 17 years. She was a sweet
cat but not a lap cat and would purr and growl at the same time!
This
layout was created using a few layers of the cat papers and stickers
from the collection, hessian cloth and a gate transperancy from my
collection. I then created a flower cluster which included an organza
bow and cork stickers. The layout was finished off with an ink sprinkle
from a Prima Colour Bloom spray.
Thanks for looking at my blog today.

Purrfect Companion
Just sharing a layout using a fun collection from
Kaisercraft called Furry Friends which you can find at Artfull Crafts. Half the collection is cats and the
other half is dogs. This is a great way to document those photos of
your fur babies.
We sadly lost both of our cats within a week of each other -Missy and Harley- last year from cancer and heart disease respectively. They were in our lives for 17 years. It was heartbreaking. So when this collection came up I thought it would be great to start doing some layouts of the cats as I don't have a lot of layouts with them in. I am not ready to journal about losing them but one day as it is important to create layouts of not just the good times. The layout I am sharing today is of the cat I chose - My Harley and my daughter. In his later years he got very affectionate towards her and she was calmed done by him. She misses him terribly so I decided to create this for her album.
I started the layout by using a Prima Mask and texture paste. I then added some strips of the patterned paper and Hessian Ribbon. Using Prima Colour Bloom sprays I sprayed the background.
I also sprayed some chipboard cogs made from a Tim Holtz die which I then added to the layout along with some stickers from the collection. The layout was finished off using brown string and flowers. some of the flowers have paw print stickers as centres.
So if you have any fur babies this collection is a great way to record memories of them. Thanks for visiting today - have a great week!

Kaisercraft all that glitters!
Just sharing a couple of layouts I have created using the new All that Glitters By Kaisercraft. This collection is gorgeous with a colour pallette of black, pink, mint and Gold. This is a great collection for girly layouts as well as Easter layouts.
My first layout is using the pink and black in the collection to create a girly layout. I have used some of the papers in the 6x6 paper pad as my background. This includes a fussy cut circle to frame the photos. The flowers are cut from tissue using the Tim Holtz tattered flowers die. The layout is finished off using the collectables, crumbled organza ribbon and a big pink feather.
My second layout uses the mint and gold colours of the collection to create a fun Easter layout. Using a mixture of the 12 x 12 papers as well as the 6 x 6 papers I created the background. I added a Giant bunny that I cut out from my Cameo. I cut out the egg shapes from the foil paper and added some collectables and stickers from the collection. To finish off I added flowers, sequins and a doily.

Love Your Smile
Sharing another layout created for Artfull crafts of a very special Birthday Boy who is turned twelve on Friday using the Shine Bright Collection By Kaisercraft
My background was created by dabbing sunshine yellow and grey paint daubers on white cardstock. Then I sprayed the paper with water and dabbed it with a nappy wipe. I then used grey ink around the edges. So with some film transparencies, the following papers Buttercup and Bright Side, Collectables and Stickers I created a layered effect under my foam mounted photos. Adding flowers , star sequins and some mist sprinkles finishes the layout off.
That is my final layout using this Collection hope you have enjoyed the inspiration from me and the other Design Team ladies this month! See you next month with some new collections!
