Lots of Scrapping Happenings

Well scrapping wise there is a lot happening in my world. Last week I found out I won Primas BAP for May and today I found out I won a websters prize from the Page Maps site - wonder what number three will be - LOL. So happy mail for me in the next few weeks. This is my last week on the Scrappin' Patch Design team and my new "secret venture" is processing nicely.

I had a great time last weekend at a mini "retreat" with Hannah, Annelie, Michelle, Megan and Faye - it was nice to scrap in a small group for a couple of nights and have a break from home. I did 10 layouts and finished these on Saturday night and just relaxed on Sunday morning.

Here are a few layouts I can share:

Budget to Blitz Challenge

My final challenge as a design team member at Scrapping Patch is on the forum. Its a Budget to Blitz challenge and ends midnight the 30th of June - my last day! Upload to the gallery here to be in to win a RAK from the shop.

The criteria for this are as follows:

Create a layout with 1 sheet of double sided PP and 1 sheet of cardstock. Embellishments must either be handmade, recycled or non scrapbooking related and the same for the titles.
You are free to create with inks, paint, oddments/leftovers of paper, material, packaging materials and wrappers and anything else you can find or think of.

THE ADDED CRITERIA IN THIS CHALLENGE IS THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE YOUR SHEET OF PATTERNED PAPER AS A BACKING PIECE IT HAS TO BE USED TO MAKE YOUR EMBELLISHMENTS!

This means you can cut out patterns on the paper and/or make your embellishments. You can use scraps or old book pages as backing.

Here is my example

Another layout

This layout is for the Up2scrap challenge for June. It is a sketch and the requirement is to have some memorabilia on the layout.

Kaitlyn wrote me so many of this little notes one day and used up a whole roll of sellotape in the process.
