**Vintage Travel **



Have fun creating a layout using versatile papers from the “Pack your Bags” range by Little Yellow Bicycle along with cuttlebug , tearing and embossing techniques. This layout is great for your Travel photos as well as boy photos and can easily be adapted to a girl layout with the addition of some flowers from the shop. Please bring your basic kit including your cutting mat, fine cutting tool and some dimensional dots. This layout includes two six by four photos one of which will be cut into an oval shape.

Get crafty with doilies, ink, and Tim Holtz alterations to create a vintage look with your layout. This layout can be for either a large landscape photo or two smaller photos. Places are strictly limited so book early. Each class in this series costs $15 plus an initial cost of a kit which is used as a base for the series.

Please bring a basic kit including adhesives , craft mat, trimmer and distress tool if you have one.

August 123 Challenge over at Websters

Websters Challenge this month was to scraplift a layout done by one of the designers. Each of the designers had a different levels of scrapbooking ie an easy,moderate or complex layout. I chose Karola's Complex one as I like to add stuff as you know!

SBO Competition

Here is my layout for last weeks challenge over SBO which was to use wire on a layout. I have made a trellis fence with some wire and some curly wires with beads.

New layouts for Competitions

Well Scrappin' patch's Star layouts have just been revealed. The star this week was Tara Orr who does amazing creations in a shabby Vintage style - right done my alley!

I am currently participating in two longer competitions -

Stars in their Eyes over at Scrapping Patch and Celebrate New Zealand over at Scrapbook Outlet.

Last week over at Scrapping Patch the Star was Stacey Michaud - very different to my style - here is my layout:



and over at SBO last weeks challenge was to include a NZ icon - I chose the pohutukawa tree and hand painted it on my layout.



I have done my layout for the second week at SBO which was to create a layout using only the National colours of NZ ie Black and white and I can show you tomorrow. I have also done a layout for this weeks star Tara Orr whose style is Vintage shabby - enjoyed this heaps and will be able to show you next Wednesday.

This weeks Star layout

This weeks star was Zarah S Peterson a very talented Swedish scrapper. I love her creations. Here is my take on her style - one of my fur babies - my very first pet after getting married - Harley who will be 13 this year.
