Aussie scrapjack - Kim Archer

Here is my take on the Aussie jack of Kim Archer. Nice to get another birthday layout done. I have used basic grey and Karen foster paper.

123 challenge January

The criteria this month was Use a craft knife, have the title as part of journalling and have red in the layout. As you can see there is a lot of red and cut the flourishes out with a craft knife. My title is Lights Up and is part of the larger journalling.

NZ DARE no 37 what tickles your fancy

NZ Dare no 37 was what tickles your fancy or makes you smile. My layout is of Kaitlyn as she does the funniest things that make me smile like this cheesy smile and putting toys like hotwheel traffic cones on her fingers. Been wanting to use this photo for a while and have used some of the paper pesto summer kit again and some kaisercraft paper and SEI alphas..

Scrap therapy scrapping with the stars

This round star is Danielle Quarmby. It was to base your layout on patterned paper and use paint I am very pleased with the result and enjoyed doning this layout. The patterned paper I used was basic greys acid washed and a double sided fancy pants one. the paint is by Heidi Swapp.

My mini wedding album

The front and back of the box.

Well I went to Scrapbook Studios friday Crop and the above is my project I did. I used mainly Paper Pestos November kit A formal affair and added extra bits. This is a practice run to do a bigger album I did 11 pages on friday and then the box and the rest today - about six hours worth and three weeks before our 11th anniversary. I am very happy how it has come out as it is my first concertina album.

Scrapbook studio friday crop

Attended my first crop at scrapbook Studio was quieter then normal it was said - quite hard when you dont know anyone. We got a pack of goodies for a challenge - 2 bits of paper one shaped bazzill and a chipboard piece in colours I wouldnt have put together and the above is the layout I did of my youngest neice. I didnt have most of my stash with me as I went to do a project see next post.

Scrapbook essentials Fortnightly challenge

The first fortnightly challenge for the year I was going to use bright colours but ended up using these colours - its funny how your ideas change when you get going.

PAPER PESTO PRAISES

Now I know I have already done a couple of posts today but I would really like to put a post up about Paper pesto .

I was introduced to Paper pesto at Senz in May this Year and loved the kits they had on display - me and my cousin were lucky enough to win the deluxe kits they had up for a competition even though we put our names in different boxes.

I didnt end up buying kits for the next few months for various reasons though now I wish I had.
In October I decided to buy a kit and I am now well and truely hooked. The kits are so well thought out and are beautiful. The ladies that run Paper Pesto are incredible and very friendly and helpful. They have a blog and a gallery to give you inspiration.
Please take a look
http://www.paperpesto.co.nz/

I recieved Januarys Kit on Saturday and created the above layout with it (the only things not in it are the cardstock under the photo and 3d foam squares) the kit is gorgoues especially if you have a daughter or for your book of mes. I will definitely continue to subscribe in the future.

And if the team at Paper Pesto is reading this thank you so much for all you have done for me since I won your kit in May 2007.
