An award, competition results, a really cool dude and some layouts

Well look what Brendan came home with yesterday isnt it cool - Im so proud of him.  He is doing so well at school.

Well the truly trendy contest is over I didn't get anywhere but two kiwis did - Louise and Ilka got 2 out of five runner up positions and and my sister got a highly commended  for her cosy cottage layout which is gorgeous.

....  and now a REALLY COOL DUDE (in Kaitlyns words when picking the boys up from school on Monday)

And heres a couple of layouts first for Paper Pestos sketch challenge - used paper from their painted summer kit which I think is still available.

The next layout is for one of the challenges at scrapbook outlet for National Scrapbooking day  - the challenge was to use 12 buttons on your layout.  Brendan is a real bookworm and get get through a book in a hour or two depending on the size.
I am getting so excited for next week going to Melbourne for 10 days child free to me my little sister though a bit nervous about the flight - only international I have been on.
Have a great day!!
